  • Dark milk chocolate?

I remember reading something where Mark Sisson said people had found a dark milk chocolate. Anyone know what brand this would be?

My dyslexic brain read this as dark chocolate milk. I guess that's not what you're talking about, but I would love some dark chocolate milk if it's out there.

I thought about this shortly after I wrote it. Maybe I will try someday when I'm bored. My food choice and cooking style is typically just out of convenience and ease. Mmm baked ground beef and sweet potatoes. Mmm eggs.

I have hot chocolate milk every day. I just use 1/3 cup of coconut milk (it's even better with 1/2, but I wanna spare a few cals.)
1Tb. S. plain cocoa, few drop of Stevia (honey or plain sugar). Mix well and fill up the rest of the large mug with boiling water.

OP, I vote for Green and Blacks 85% cocoa bar. Lindt comes in second.

That's what I'm saying. I've made "food porn" looking food just a couple times. I just put what I'm eating into some sort of heating apartatus and take it out when said heating apartatus has sufficiently softened the food and killed bacteria. My food looks nasty and straight off the farm, out of the ground, and from the butcher shop. It usually tastes good with quality salt, spices, and sauce though.

I get "caveman" comments from people without them even knowing about Primal or WAPF. This actually goes back to before I ever started eating like this.

Morropon Province Coffee Milk Chocolate 60%
They advertise that as a dark milk chocolate

                This is amazing:
                Riverbend Malted Milk 45%
It has barley malt in it so...probably not the best most primal organic chocolate, but it tastes like I always wanted a malt ball to taste. It was amazing. I love, love, love malted taste, but the chocolate on malt balls is always waxy. This was like the divine combination of amazing chocolate and malt.

I am a fan of milk chocolate.

Hi. Just resurrecting this thread because I thought UK people might like to know that Hotel Chocolat has a single varietal chocolate which is milk chocolate with 70+% cocoa solids. It tastes slightly creamy like milk chocolate on the bite but then has the amazing finish you'd expect of a single varietal (which are usually dark). It's quite astonishing. Very little sugar.

Magnolia, I'm not sure if I should thank you or not..... Hubby loves malt flavor, but since going primal he doesn't care for those waxy malted balls. The question is should I surprise him with a bar and potentially start a habit? The other chocolates also look tempting. From reading your posts I trust that you have very discriminating taste.

It's an expensive habit. But yeah, surprise him!

Promised Land Dairy makes dark chocolate milk. Try looking for them at Whole Foods.
