I like my vodka with water and a lemon twist...and the first time I went to use it, it was taken so I added the second 's'.

I always read it as "Mud Finger"! Good to know, lol!

Well Rob as that's my name, and Tribal as I want to live in a tribe of other hippies as I think that's how humans are meant to live, small close interdendant communities.

The first on-line forum I ever entered was a horse fan forum and I took my horse's name - in the stables people would ask for "the owner of X" and shorten to just "X" anyway. The forum broke down and everybody had to get new nicknames but preferably still recognizable. I added Sea Horse to the original name, because with that horse it was our mutual pleasure to go along the wintery frozen seaside as fast as possible and as far as we wanted, wind in the mane and hair. But the name always confuses people from US, its a name of US city and everybody assumes I'm from there, so for other forums I left SeaHorse only.

It got even funnier when I read about the "other connotations that you're finding it hard to suppress"... Mud Finger. LOL (Sorry, I'm immature).

I once got an award from a university made out to 'merl' since apparently my handwriting was so awesome that only one interpretation was possible. (around here Merl tends to be used mostly great-grandmothers)

It's been my nickname ever since.
