  • The Presidential election, Union vs Confederacy?

This is not precise but does it look to you as if we are fighting the civil war? Lol.

    And?
Disclaimer: I eat 'meat and vegetables' ala Primal, although I don't agree with the carb curve. I like Perfect Health Diet and WAPF Lactofermentation a lot.

Yeah, like the right to be put on a kill list so you can be killed without trial?

Or the right to drone bomb innocent children?

Or the right to have your home wiretapped without warrant?

Or the right to be molested by the TSA?

Or the right to have drones spying on you?

Or the right to have your money stolen from you?

I mean, if we were actually free or something, that would be like living in the dark ages.

I'm not so sure about the reference to the War of Northern Aggression, also known as the War of Union Ascendance.

However, you can be pretty sure that the US dollar will collapse, and the Union will most likely break up as a result of that.

I think it's very likely we will see the European Union break apart as well.

This is all good in the long term, smaller local governments will always be better than a centralized tyrannical all-controlling Hamiltonian Federalist type government.

When it comes to politics people tend to be intellectually lazy.

Would I be putting a grain-feed cow on a fad diet if I took it out of the feedlot and put it on pasture eating the grass nature intended?

Are you suggesting there was an electable candidate that would NOT have done any of these things you are listing?

                    Oh hell no.

Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan and Citi Bank won in a massive landslide victory last night.

About 98.5% of voting Americans endorsed banker slavery.

Is everyone failing to realize that four states legalized gay marriage, two legalized recreational marijuana, and the first openly gay senator was elected? I don't think we've necessarily regressed or lost liberties. I'm not a fan of either major candidate, which is why I voted third party. It's like people like to pretend third party candidates don't exist, but if they paid attention to them, they'd realize a lot of their views aligned with their own.

Also on the marijuana thing, before someone brings out the flames on me, I'm not a user or a promoter, per say, but I don't see it as any worse than cigarettes or alcohol, and I believe the government could make bank on it. Same thing with gay marriage, although I am an active supporter of that.

Yes, but until the DOMA is repealed and the feds stop cracking down on legal marijuana I'm not sure how much good it does at least on the national level.

                            Massachusetts also legalized medicinal marijuana.

Very true, but I see it as a step forward. In a day where people want results and they want them NOW, we have to step back and appreciate the baby steps we make as a whole :]
