  • Need studies claiming saturated fat causes heart disease

I need some of those studies to talk about in an essay. But when I google things like "heart disease linked to saturated fat" all I can find is studies claiming that saturated fat is actually good, which may be true but I'm currently looking for stupid observational government studies can somebody link me one?
    well then

Y'know, I'm starting to think those studies don't actually exist. They're like the boogeyman - meant to scare the pants off you and make you behave, but there's really nothing there.

Although maybe you could use Ancel Keys's Seven Countries Study? It's incredibly flawed and Keys did a lot of hankey-pankey with the numbers, but it's what CW is based on.

The two biggest ones are probably the Framingham Heart Study and the Nurses Health Study. Both are epidemiological (they basically give people questionaires, and then conveniently forget that 'correlation does not equal causation' when doing their analysis).

The Seven Countries study is the most foundational one. It was the driver for the current health policies. And it's also an epidemiological longitudinal study.

Disclaimer: I eat 'meat and vegetables' ala Primal, although I don't agree with the carb curve. I like Perfect Health Diet and WAPF Lactofermentation a lot.

You want Wikipedia for things like this:

Saturated fat - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mind you, going somewhere else might not be bad idea, since everyone else in the class will have gone there ...

Framingham won't work for you as it provez no connection
Four years Primal with influences from Jaminet & Shanahan and a focus on being anti-inflammatory. Using Primal to treat CVD and prevent stents from blocking free of drugs.

Eat creatures nose-to-tail (animal, fowl, fish, crustacea, molluscs), a large variety of vegetables (raw, cooked and fermented, including safe starches), dairy (cheese & yoghurt), occasional fruit, cocoa, turmeric & red wine

Exactly. If anything, it shows a correlation of LESS CVD with a higher saturated fat intake.

I found a couple that still want to blame saturated fat
