  • Sleep patterns and primal diet

    I started transitioning to primal life style and I am finding that I want to sleep 10 or more hours per day. Anybody else experience this? I got to thinking that paleo man probably slept when the sun went down til the sun came up.....Aldo needed the sleep to digest the high protein he/she ate.....

    When I first went gluten-free, about 6 years ago, I experienced crippling fatigue from the withdrawal and slept my life away for nearly a week! Lately though, not so much! I sleep more before my period though

      For me it's seasonal. I definitely feel the need to sleep more during winter.

          I hate sleeping and if I get 6 hours a day I feel as if I am wasting my life. 1/4 of my day in bed is so much wasted possibilities.
