I haven't summarily dismissed anything, but I do think if you write or say something stupid, it has an impact on the credibility of whatever else you write or say.

I'll have to look forward to your response and the fall out tomorrow as its past my bedtime now in the good old United Kingdom.
Right. Like I'm going to sit here and audition for your approval.

Dude, what the fuck difference does it make what some stranger (me) in another fucking country thinks about homosexuality. Why the fuck would you ever care about such a ridiculous thing?

Don't answer. I don't care about your response. I'm just flabbergasted that you could care to begin with.

I linked to a fascinating TED Talk and then an incredibly engaging article in the original post. If you don't like them, fine! Yes, I encourage you and others to read and consider the ideas because I think it's vital to good health - I'd even go so far as to say that being internet porn free is straight-up Primal. But you're clearly more interested in some sort of gay political bullshit. Knock yourself out with that, but I have no interest in such a talk.

It's easy to point at every sexual problem people have and blame porn. Maybe porn addiction is a consequence of much deeper problems. Ever considered that?
          I have a statistic for you: 0.00%

That is how relevant any sociological figures are. I do care, however, about the demonstrative effects that internet porn has on the individual. That is what's talked about in the TED Talk and the article, and that is the only thing that effects my life, anyway. If you wanna perform some sort of marketing study, that's your thing, dude. But I'm not in the Borg.

David, why don't you wait for someone else to defend you?

If anyone else sees merit in them, that is.

Otherwise, you are trolling your own thread.

(and for what it's worth, I agree with the premise of the Ted talk you linked to. but not with the points you have been making in here)
Disclaimer: I eat 'meat and vegetables' ala Primal, although I don't agree with the carb curve. I like Perfect Health Diet and WAPF Lactofermentation a lot.

The nature of the porn industry alone is enough reason for me to avoid it. I've checked out some of these "yourbrainonporn" sites, and they're all full of Christian wackjobbery. Until a reputable, secular source picks up on this, color me not convinced.

Slandering Christians. So courageous of you.

And, really, I don't think there's anything more Christian and less secular than the TED Talks. Heck, I think those are filmed at the Vatican.

Why do people always assume that only dudes watch porn? When I was with my ex there was some porn in the house... it wasn't his. Just sayin.

I'm not usually a fan of porn, but now I want to watch some hot man-on-man action and report back just to mess with David's head (mind you he seems pretty screwed up already). This thread is getting awesome!

Cmon man don't act lie you didn't do the shit. This is a modern world and we do things of modern times. We aren't paleolithic man. None of us even really get close to the way they ate or lived. I did plenty of drugs and internet porn, but I don't anymore. I'm turning out pretty good.

I never used the word "didn't", I used the word don't, as in currently. I don't plan on ever going back, but I've been there, and I don't deny that shit.

Oh, and I have no problem with porn, and haven't noticed any negative consequences on my health or sex life.
