  • Marks Daily Apple SmartPhone APP

Any way this could be developed...I almost feel like this would make it a lot easier for me to post in my logs (photos, workouts, etc) and view threads very easily..

    Opinions?

I doubt Mark will ever do it. He's got a Windows system so he probably has Windows programmers and well, yeah, there you go.

I thought there was an apple app but the developer stopped supporting it.

I think Mark's sysadmins still need to install the vBulletin plugin.

Yeah, I just realized this isn't free. But I'm not aware of any other free forum apps at the moment.

I'm actually a mobile app developer - it's not that easy to make a decent app, and even then people tend to complain a lot if there is something they don't like, and insignificant feature missing or a tiny bug.

Also, for something like MDA (and being able to access a lot of the functionality of this site), you would need a mobile developer, a web developer (basically, someone to feed all of the content to the app securely and without useless data) and possibly designer (assuming new assets need to be created for the app - generally speaking programmers aren't great at artwork).

But hey, feel free to come up with a list of features, and I can give you an estimate as to how long it would take to make

ya designing an app definitely seems way out of my league in creating. I couldnt even start on the basic layout of an app. its just way out of my tech savy league

                        Haha good one carl
