  • if it is up Seaweed, there is a wee foot paddle that you just push and it quietly slowly drops to the floor, however there are so many different models !!!!
I am sure that it will be something simple. You cannot do any harm fiddling around with things, althou if it drops on your head - and heaven forbid - you didn't hear it from me !!! LOL
The poor wee dog ! Tui, our DD17yr olds dog, would hate being in a dog box !!!! She is so used to being on the back of the truck !

    • Good morning ladies

Wow, I've had such a busy weekend I didn't get time to catch up on here until just now...........goodness me you've been talking up a storm.

I don't have much to add - thankfully no experience with affairs. We both trust each other to do the right thing whatever that might be, so no jelousy or anxiety about it at all. In fact my husbands best friend is a single guy and my husband who often travels for work is more than happy to let his friend escort me to whatever events he can't attend. Is quite amusing really, the boys at work all tease me and call him my 'handbag' cause I make him take me to chick flicks too (he's a Twilight fan)! At one wedding we attended together I was 8 months pregnant, and the grooms elderly mother didn't know what to think, the look on her face was priceless. Its nice having a male friend who respects me and my marriage and would never make a move on me.

Had a nice suprise yesturday when I tried on a pair of shorts to wear to the beach (first day of Surf Lifesaving for my son) and I fitted beautifully into a pair I had tucked away last year as they were a little too tight around the hips. I felt very proud of myself, that 4kg loss has made quite the difference obviously. Its not something I had noticed in my winter clothes and work uniform.

      • ugh what happened to summer yet again? i just saw my neighbour who is an avid skier. they go every weekend in season. they were somewhere on route to the ski field cycling on saturday and she reckons there was more snow than she has seen in 12 winters of going thru there on the way to skiing. 2 funny as she saw loads of deer too and there we are armed to the teeth with deer guns not that far down the road from where they were and all we see is one set of prints and lots of things we need a shotgun to shoot.

the dog isnt very wee lol he was supposed to be smaller but that paleo dog diet has made him big and shiny. poor dog got a big fright last night as we got mobbed by cows in the paddock in the dark when i went to send a txt. it was like a cartoon as they stampeded us, so i did the arm up to stop them ( as you do when 17 huge cows are rushing down a muddy hill in the dark at you ), they sorta circled us snorting and we made it out of the gate somehow as they all piled up and hung over the gate looking like mad bulls. the dog was very scared so thankfully he stayed behind me. i have herded these particular cattle before and they are a bit pushy. id forgotten they were there as i couldnt see them lol

          • i was thinking about the whole women chasing the married men thing. i reckon at some time in your life odds are you will meet someone who is marrried, who you happen to get on with a bit too well. it is not the best thing either as you usually both know without ever having to discuss it. which you couldnt anyways as it would be admitting knowing it is possible or that you could have thought about it. having a strong emotional bond with someone else's partner, even if you never touch them, is almost worse than getting physical with them. and that is something which is often missed and people just concentrate on the sexual aspect which is transient at best. philosophical mood today as well LOL

Yes it has gotten cold over the weekend here too, bloody awful on the beach yesturday (I swear there was ice on the wind). Our mountain looks a little bare though, interestingly we've not had a snowfall for quite a while now. We had snowfall in November last year so we'll just wait and see.

Very philosophical for this time of the morning! I do agree with you, although I'd not say I have an 'emotional' bond with my 'handbag' other than friendship. I'm sure that an emotional tie with someone else could be extremely detrimental to a relationship even if there was no physical aspect to it. Was it Joanie who was saying that a one off physical act wouldn't offend her near as much as full on affair would? I think I'd feel the same.

                    • yes and then you get the good male friends who you dont have an inappropriate emotional bond with and i adore mine. especially being a bit of a cave girl as i can go do cave person things with them. i am with you in the fact that i would prob feel the same about emotional vs physical infidelity. granted i would rather not deal with any of it tho.
