            • Have a great time in Kerikeri.

We are going to have breakfast and then head out for grocery shopping. Big snow storm coming this evening -- supposedly 10 inches of snow. So, DS is off of school tomorrow, i'm sure. LOL So, snow-play for us tomorrow!

Will you guys keep your fingers crossed for this job that DH applied for? He really wants it, and I really want it too. DS doesn't know about it, but it'll be great.

                    • thanx Annie, it was really good to catch up with the olds, and my sister and family. I also caught up with my Doctor brother. he bought an old car from Opua, which we helped load onto two trucks and trailers. Its an old 1915 ex fire truck from the USA. My brother will have it rebuilt into a roadster or something. It will go like the wind once restored - apparently !!!!!!

so it was really great to catch up with my family up there.

back into full on autumn down here thou........bbbbbbbrrrrrrrrrr

LOL yes. I think drag cars are around 500bhp and they go like stink in a straight line. I would so love a drag car not that it would be much use to me. too many corners and dirt roads here. I kinda miss the acceleration of a decent motorcycle whilst driving my horrid old diesel truck.

same old here. the sun is sort of outing itself a bit. I saw a female sealion calling on the beach today. first time ever. there were two massive males with manes further down the beach sleeping and ignoring her. and two very stupid tourists who stuck a camera on a tripod almost in her face. I do get them taking pics of me and the dog sometimes but I would so be taking pics of the dog instead. he's far better looking and far rarer than a sealion is! plus a lot more user friendly if it all goes pear shaped LOL
