Well my day has gone from great, to slightly off, to bad, to like worse day ever - by a mile!!!!!!!!
So yesterday went from great....... Made it finally to the pool to flounder round like a beached whale
To slightly off................... Arrived home and got the old aura coming on, as in migraine
To bad...... Boarders dog was hit by a car, we think, and then our dog attacked him and there was screaming dogs, blood everywhere etc......
Then to DH results came in from the skin specialist, and he has two cancers on his face, one a basal cell carcinoma, and the other a melanoma. The big M. I am scared out of my mind. The specialist has said that it hasn't presented like a normal one. They are usually bigger and flatter, this one is deeper. So he has bought the op forward already by a couple of days, he was on the phone to us a few times last night.
So at this stage it is wed morning. I still haven't got my results yet, so i am hoping that my little biopsy is a total non event!!!!!!!!
So on a positive note, the little dog is alive this morning, but very sore, and our dog is limping with a few gashes around her nose.

So thats me, back into reading the sex thread now, for some lite entertainment!!!!! Hahahahahahaha

                        • we have feral geese near us which have goslings which are pretty cute. they make good guard animals and it will prob get on with the goat. it may also go off to find more buddies which is poss why it has been honking. my theory is my dog's target species are deer and geese so it may not be a plan to send it my way. altho he did an incredibly good job of bailing the horse just now. i was even more impressed when i finally lost patience and did the sit signal that he did! i would say it is coz he is smart enough to realise he was about to get stomped by a small fat very angry spotty horse so it was time to retreat with dignity. ie dont pick fights you arent going to win.

Sorry to hear that Gwamma, fingers crossed for everything.

Must've been a day for it yesterday.

I got home late last night to a message that my grandad in the UK passed away yesterday morning. He was 87/88 and had been in end stage kidney failure for a few months, so not exactly unexpected and honestly a mercy, but it's always a kick in the balls to lose someone.

He was always so happy, with a joke or funny story to tell, or a song to sing. Never dwelling in the dark days, even though he'd been a professional soldier (a desert ray) from before ww2 through to serving in (then) Palestine, who missed my grandmother terribly after she died 12 years ago.

We shared a lot of views, didn't see the point on lavish funerals or religious services and he would hate me to "waste" money on going back for his, so I'll just listen to some Sinatra & Martin and have a drink to the bugger instead.

3 grandparents and two uncles in the past 12 years and my parents and other aunts & uncles are all at least 60, so I guess it's only going to be even more of a regular occurrence from here on in.
