  • Sleep Time?

If you shut off your alarm clock, and have no engagements in the morning, how long do you naturally sleep for? I've found that 9-10 hours to be around the time when I wake up naturally.

    You?

About 6 these days, sometimes a little longer but not much. But I also usually have a nap of about an hour in the afternoon.

8 - 9 hours seems to be good enough for me.

i feel best if I sleep just about 8 hours. I tried an experiment once to see if sleeping 6 hours a day would make me feel any better, and all it did was make me want to take naps during the day.

I definitely have the most energy after sleeping for around 9.5-10 hours, but that only if I get to bed by 10:30. IfI don't I only sleep 9 hours which is also fine.

Me too. 8.5 seems to be optimal.

I can sleep anywhere from 10 to 12 hours without an alarm clock.

With no alarm and no partner in the bed waking earlier than me, rolling around and whispering "are you awake?"... I wake after about 8.5 to 9 hours.

I wake up after 7-7.5 hrs to pee. Then I am for some reason always excited for the day ahead so I can't get to sleep again. But 8hrs is perfect for me so it's close
                        well then

7 hrs is perfect for me but I do nap for 30 mins 3-4 days a week, so I think I'm playing catch-up then.

We have animals so we pretty much have to stay on their schedule, and when you have a parrot screeching GOOD MORNING at 6am, your day begins whether you like it or not.

I usually feel great after a few days of 9 hours sleep. But then I start needing slightly less, maybe 8-8.5. I think I am consistently getting just a bit less (20-30 minutes) than I really need, and I catch up after a few days of free time.

Well it's 6 to 7 hours for me. Wake up the same time everyday just before the alarm goes for during the week and on the weekend with no alarm not much longer.
