So true! that is a great casino! Thx for recommending.
If you are new to the PB - please ignore ALL of this stuff, until you've read the book, or at least http://www.marksdailyapple.com/primal-blueprint-101/ and this (personal fave): http://www.archevore.com/get-started/

This works quite well. I tell people that I try to stay away from anything that has an ingredient list.

I guess like Isbolick I am only actively talking about Primal at the moment because colleagues/friends have started to notice a difference and have asked what I'm doing. Will take the advice of more senior members on board and avoid the c-word from now on though!

Sometimes peopleare threatened by the success of others especially when they are doing something that isn't working that well for them.

After all, most of us who were overweight or unhealthy labored under the same misconceptions ourselves until recently.
I got asked by a husband/wife team of TKD/Hapkido instructors what I did to lose weight... so I told them and gave them a link to the "Start Here" section of this site. When you lose 104 lbs, people notice. When they notice, they ask how, and the ones who are dedicated to getting healthier actually DO it.
Peak weight on Standard American Diet: 316.8 lbs
Initial Weight When Starting Primal: 275 lbs
            Current weight: 210.8 lbs
Goal weight: 220 lbs (or less): MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

A lot of people I talk to are proud of the pills they take. It's rather scary, a full-grown adult still dragging around a dirty blanky and sucking their thumb.

I literally just posted about this. Yes, I agree your first mistake was talking about it at all. Sometimes it can't be avoided like in situations where there is nothing primal to eat and you are in a small group so not eating would be noticable. I consider these times my 20%. The truth is your lifestyle change threatens the people who are being critical. Nobody wants to be the last overweight person and people will absolutely attempt to bring you down. It's human nature. Just keep doing what you are doing and bow to no person's pressure. More importantly DO NOT engage in the argument. It takes two to argue and you can just sit their and smile or change the subject while people are being critical. It's NOBODY'S business what you put in your mouth. Lead by example.

Excellent answer. I do a lot of shrugging of my shoulders and smiling. Can't get in an argument if I refuse to participate.
