      a. I'm deep-green jealous!
      b. "Rang"?! How do you ring a cracked bell??

I was like 10 and walked under the rope and swung the clapper, hard enough to ring the bell and cause the Rangers to freak out.

I had dinner with Brave Combo.
They held a concert and my German Dancing team went to it. After they got done playing, most of the crowd had left, but most of the German Dancing team was still around. So, we all went to IHOP with Brave Combo.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, steak in one hand, chocolate in the other, yelling "Holy F***, What a Ride!"

This is my favorite and most expensive part...lol. I put on some shorts that were only a month old and they were so gigantic that I thought I had grabbed an older pair with a 4" larger waist.

I went to buy shirts last week after wearing one that actually fit and found that I am now a size L, down from 2XL in January. Self image win.

I wore a bikini in public. I still have a lot of work to do, but for the first time in a decade my stomach saw the sunshine. Tan tummy here I come!

People keep asking me what I'm training for at the gym... Literally. Everyday. Sorry folks, just training for being awesome and eating clean ( haven't said this, but maybe next time)

I used to run 65+K a week and lived off tangerines and chickpeas. I managed to get down to 170lbs (from 230) before my knees said, 'fuck you, I quit' and I ballooned back up to 205lbs.

Today I walk (in my sweet Vibrams) and occasionally lift heavy stuff and weigh 166lbs. And am still effortlessly losing weight (albeit slowly, but who cares?). I even took my shirt off at a pool party a few weeks back. Crazy.

I did 2 pull-ups last night. I used to be able to do ten, but 2 is better than the zero it was a month ago. On my way.

This one is vicarious - my husband and daughter went to Cleveland last night to catch NPR's Wait, Wait - Don't Tell Me show live... and got ALL the autographs... Mo Rocca, anyone?

And - Drew Carey was there, too!

Had tea with a friend the other day. She told me that a mutual acquaintance I had bumped into after not seeing her in a couple of years told her (my friend) that I looked so great and healthy that she almost didn't recognize me. What's funny is that I look more like young me now than I did two years ago, so people I haven't seen since I was 20 are more likely to recognize me than more recent acquaintances.

I have two goals for this summer: 1) do at least one unassisted pull-up, 2) do a unassisted handstand for at least 5 seconds....last night I did two unassisted pull-ups!!! Still working on the hand-stand, I can do an unassisted head stand pretty easy now....so soon, I can feel it

There's a man who walks beside me, he is who I used to be, and I wonder if she sees him and confuses him with me.

Competed in my first ever track/field meet last weekend. Ran the 100m dash, threw the discus, hammer, and weight(35lbs). Had a fricking great time and felt Super Primal doing it. Next meet in 2 weeks to better my times/throws:-) Free your mind, and your Grok will follow!
