What music makes you feel like a caveman? Lately, Volcano Choir, Here We Go Magic & The Antlers have been doing it for me as I move slowly through the mounds of snow.

@ lovestoclimb...i've been on a trip hop kick lately. just discovered all india radio. ever listened to 'em?

usually for me it's stuff like: disturbed (aaaaawesome live shows), static-x, old school metallica, etc.

Yeah, I think you're right on that one. Regardless, it's awesome!

I have a rainforest soundtrack that was recorded where I went on a school trip into the deep Ecuadorian rainforest. I love it and it makes me feel peaceful. Now I need ideas to get amped up! Anyone?!

Life on Earth may be punishing, but it includes an annual free trip around the sun!

For today's sprint workout I decided to crank up some Ministry ("Jesus Built My Hotrod") before letting it rip. The nice thing about Tabata-style workouts is that you only need one song. More and more, though, I find that music is an impediment to my workouts - for my slow and easy ones I just want to relax and groove on reality and for the intense ones my attention's so focused that I don't notice or care what else is going on around me.

Really been digging on Tabla Beat Science and Broken Social Scene lately for chill out music (and walking music). For getting amped up, I've been into Blink-182. (Ahh, High school...)

                        In your face, Space Coyote!

His equipment is high tech, but Jack Conte seems to be a primal type of guy in touch with his feelings. (And he looks sort of like a cave-man, too!) He's my new favorite musician this year:
