While I was never greatly overweight or did a diet (it was always called 'puppy fat' and I was told it would go when I became an adult. Crap!), I was a couple of sizes bigger than I should have been. At age 27, I got fed up and started working out and ate no fat at all. Just sugar and carbs (oh my poor body). I lost heaps (then too much), but was strong and lean. My very hard muscles were tiny though (no protein to create them). Fast forward - 4 pregnancies and I was the biggest I've ever been save for when I was pregnant. I had GD during one pregnancy, lost 10kg but gave birth to a large baby so it was all me to go. Start of last year, I went sugar free (Sweet Poison)but still taking in the simple carbs. August someone linked me to the leptin reset information, that worked well for me (too well, now I don't have the opportunity to indulge my healthy libido ) and then I found this website and am currently very happy with my body. But also, with how wonderful and healthy I feel I look younger than I did 5 years ago (I'm 43) and my brain function has returned (I missed my brain!) and life is good
