  • Has Primal/Paleo had a positive influence on your medical insurance rates?

I'm in the midst of doing some research regarding medical/health insurance, specifically policies and how premiums are determined. In talking with my parents last night, the policy through my father's company refers to the number of insurance claims in a given year to determine the premium.

What I'm looking for, either anecdotally or objectively, is information on how conditions like obesity, diabetes, and other diseases/conditions related to (lack of proper) diet/exercise have an impact on insurance costs. For instance, having X markers for chance of contracting cardiovascular disease puts a premium at Y dollars/month, but after Primal/Paleo you've gone down to X-4 markers and have lowered your premium to Z dollars/month.)

If anyone has anything to offer, I'd greatly appreciate it. If you're uncomfortable disclosing any particular elements, feel free to PM me.
Are you a college student, trying to navigate college while being Primal? Do you know any other PB college students on a tight budget? Heck, for that matter, are YOU trying to live Primal on a budget? Enroll at Primal University!

For after all what is man in nature? A nothing in relation to infinity, all in relation to nothing, a central point between nothing and all and infinitely far from understanding either.
