  • Random itchy red bumps/rash appearing in my legs

Sup MDA it's your boy rphl

For this past week I've been itching blood out of my legs.

It started after I went to the woods, there's lots of weeds and wild plants there, and mosquitoes too. I had shorts on.

3 days after that, the bumps/rash started to appear, and mother of god, do they itchy!

Some of the bumps are next to each other in a line, some of it is just a raised red rash.

Then I went to the woods again, and my girlfriend who was with me got the itchy bumps too.

Now I haven't gone back to the place in a while, at least not with shorts, but those damn bumps keep coming back and they're starting to spread.

    What the heck is it?

    Poison Ivy? Mosquito bites?

I'm confused because is that it took a few days to show up (so I can't tell exactly if it was from something in the woods), and it's spreading even though I haven't gone back there.

                  No definitely not.

I'm starting to think it's really poison ivy + mosquitoes.

I forgot to mention that there were thorns were I was and I'm sure I got cut by a few of them.

But I'm confused as to why the rash showed up almost a week later.

Are tehre any other plants that cause allergic reactions?

                      You should post a pic!

I've had chiggers (red bumps) and also once got into a field full of deer ticks -- my wife found about 80 on me that night. NOT FUN!!! They are TINY, so they are hard to spot and you need to get them off in the first 24 hours, so look CLOSELY for them. Otherwise, you can get some nasty diseases from them.

Chiggers, on the other hand, are just an itchy, nasty nuisance!

There's also phytophotodermititis. I get that when I brush against certian plants, and then stay out in the sun. HUGE blisters. You might have a little contact, but you can look it up. It's weird!

                            You're probably carb deficient.

Does it have little blisters? It might be poison oak or poison ivy. It can take a couple days to show up.
