  • White charcoal

Greetings! I discovered this website a few weeks ago and have become an obsessive reader.

Wondered if you could help me out with a query - I recently came across a website advertising white charcoal products for air and water purification (removing chlorine and softening it so it can be better absorbed by our bodies, apparently) and even can be worn as jewellery. It claims to improve mood by releasing negative ions, improve blood circulation and remove electromagnetic waves and positive ions produced by computers, mobile phones etc. which is supposed to have a "positive effect on well-being." I believe the science behind purifying water and absorbing toxic chemicals in the air in our homes, but not sure about the rest - any thoughts or information?

The only white charcoal I'm familiar with is typically atomically an interlocked tetrahedral lattice, and usually referred to as "diamonds"...
