"Following an extremely low-carbohydrate diet is disastrous, dangerous, and above allóboring!..."

    The Truth About Carbohydrates

Simply amazing. I love great advice such as limiting French fries to 2 servings a day. That should keep trans-fats down to a sub-lethal level. For a while.

It's a little disconcerting that over 1k people have clicked "like" to that article.

Ever notice that anti-low carb pundits always go to the "extreme low carb" route? I always tell people that low carb is not no carb. Also my experience is that low carb eating is a lot more exciting than low fat. Talk about boring and bland its a low fat diet.

Yeah, every time someone says, "Oh, you're eating low carb?" I twitch. I eat carbs. I eat delicious, highly nutritious carbs (yams, squash, fruit). I just don't eat 300g of them a day. And I don't eat the equivalent of dietary glue and sawdust.

it's not. i always enjoy seeing the Other Man walk off a cliff; it's due to his own stupidity.

let's focus on the good stuff.

Whole grain breads, muffins, bagels, rolls, pasta, noodles, crackers, cereal, and brown rice: 6-11 servings daily

Madness. I can't even fathom doing that at this point. I'm getting a stomach ache just thinking about it.

There is so much wrong information in that article, I'm stunned the person has any kind of education.

I was not aware that a straw man could be so low carb. The more you know, I guess.

WHAT KIND OF DUMBFUCKERY IS THIS, I DON'T EVEN

Seriously, what planet do the SP "dietitians" live on? Either they've never worked up the nerve to try low carb, or they're making bank to be pro-carb cheerleaders. Probably the latter. That claim about having no energy is beyond silly. I've been getting 20-40 grams of carbs per day for about six months now. And I'm taking my first XF class tomorrow. I never would have contemplated doing XF under my old CW eating habits. Back then, I definitely didn't have the energy. SP are way down the rabbit hole with this. Off with their heads!

How do these people sleep at night after writing crap like this? Can Becky hand really believe that HFCS is healthy for you, or is she just such a POS that she would take money to push it on people and make them sick? This country is so messed up.
