  • Need Whole Foods list help

    Hi all,

    I'm going to WF today with my mom and nieces and nephews. It's about an hour drive, and my mom wants to eat lunch there.

    Honestly, I'm not a WF fanatic --I'm mainly going for the social outing, but any suggestions for primal purchases while I'm there?

    I am currently dairy and night shades free as well as GF. My little list so far is:

    -coconut aminos (I hope they have these at WF- had to buy online last time!)
    -macademias
    -manioc flour
    -mustard with no paprika (have not been able to find this any where else)
    -green tea (any brand suggestions?)
    -? would love to get some other type of condiment to use on meat/veggie that is nightshade and GF - any ideas?

    That's it so far.

    Any suggestions??

    Also, will I be able to get a decent lunch?

      I just picked these up the other day (normally don't do WH)

      Local honey
      blackstrap molasses
      Macadamias
      Coconut milk
      Hahn meritage (red wine)
      Endangered species 88% chocolate
      Ber....something 100% baking chocolate bar

            The grass fed ground beef was on sale yesterday, perhaps today as well. If I was going to eat there I'd probably buy two cooked chickens (second one half off, a good deal anyway) and bring them over to a table.

            I generally look for the sale items and stock the freezer.
            Wheat is the new tobacco. Spread the word.

              i like the oraganic unsweetened coconut flakes they have there.. nice size bag for cheap

                I was unprepared with cooler so I didn't get meat or produce. Wish I had been more organized.

                I got:

                coconut aminos - 2 bottles
                mustard with no paprika - 2
                coconut flakes
                coconut ground
                local honey
                coconut vinegar - hmm... gotta be good for something!
                tapioca flour - made Saorsi's wraps from this last night
                few other goodies.

                Good trip and will be more prepared next time!
