I'm always looking to optimize/maximize my health so hopefully some of you have experiences on below.
As I'm aging like a fine wine, I'm thinking of getting my hormones tested to see where I stand. I've been thinking about this more recently particularly since my body doesn't seem to respond to putting muscle on the way it used to.
Any experience from the ladies out there on hormonal
testing & supplementing? Anything I should ask for at the docs (or watch out for)?
Also, I've been looking into getting my iodine levels tested, esp. after having read Dr.Eades stuff on it. Any experience getting this tested & supplemented to optimum levels?
P.S. My blood-tests (lipids) are all good last time I checked (few months ago). BP is excellent. I'm getting Vitamin D levels checked here in next few weeks. Overall I'm ~6' tall, and only ~5 lbs away from my ideal bodyweight...but I'm looking to firm up more. I do exercise, sprint, lift heavy things etc.
