edit: I do a very similar workout like in your second video to train my grip strength for gi chokes. It's pretty critical to have a good grip for those things...
I actually just got back from an intro BJJ class, the last time I did BJJ was a little over a year ago and only did like 5 classes. I got tapped by a kid that was maybe 9? the bastard choked me! I was like how does this little fucker have the strength to choke me out? but it actually wasn't really strength just leverage. I got tapped by every training partner but that's what happens when all you really know is how to squirm around trying not to get tapped. I almost got a choke in there once, a guillotine? Dude was in my guard, I tried to grab his right arm with both of mine and as he moved his head down I swung my right arm behind his neck and tried to straighten myself out, but he was little so he got his little head out of there. I'm not sure I did it right, but that's literally the only offensive maneuver from guard I remembered "fake the arm, grab the neck" ... I'm going back on tuesday for another free class, might sign up, but the class is very small as it's a new gym. I think it'd be cool to be a part of a new gym though, and bjj is very fun.

Baby if you time travel back far enough you can avoid that work because the dust won't be there. You're too pretty to be working that hard.

          Damn, Grumpy's got game!

I suppose that's the difference... this dude totally didn't/doesn't. He talked about the salary he hopes to make, and even about his brother's salary... and I'm no Dale Carnegie, but seriously??

Single fellas, do any of you see yourselves getting married and having kids? I love kids but I can't see myself being with the same woman for the rest of my life.
I'm not single so maybe I shouldn't comment but when I was single I couldn't imagine the one-girl-for-life deal. Now that I've been with a girl for two years I can see it, the spending time with her for many years to come... idk about the commitment though, I mean, I just don't know how natural it is FOR EITHER SEX (relax hoes) to be with one mate for so dang long. I'd much rather be able to maybe have sex with a friend or something, but always go back to my lady, but then the double standard kicks in and I'm not sure I'd want another dude's shlong inside my lady's sacred atrium ... so I think I'm fine with being a one broad man for the rest of my days. I love her and even though it's only been two years, I don't think that'll change, but I guess many have said that in the past right?

                  • This thread is very hard to keep up (that's what she said)

                    so...

                    - I didn't see two girls one cup, I'm disgusted by fecal ingestion and the possibility of watching/hearing some one puke. Once I was watching porn and out of nowhere THIS CHICK STARTS PUKING ON A DUDES WEEN. Never has a boner been killed so fast. Another reason I don't like girls getting gagged.

                    - I forgot what else I was going to respond to, but I already committed to the bullets.

Getting tapped is something to enjoy when you are first starting out, in my opinion, whether it's by a 9 year old or a 90 year old. When you get tapped, stop and ask them how they did it and how you could have stopped it. No matter how strong you are or how much endurance you have, a skilled player is always going to beat you. Like Helio Gracie said when he was like 85... he would roll with any younger man but he always said "I may not beat you, but you won't beat me". It's all about the skill and the training.

While I may be out for a knee injury right now, when my legs are at full strength I have one of the most wicket triangle's you'll ever see, but I am weak when it comes to maintaining a strong gi choke. That's why I do the exercise you put in your video.

Train it up dude and when I am healed we'll have a good ol' grapple session, lol.

                      • I find it really boring to talk about jobs and sports. This is in almost every conversation I've been in.

No to the blowtorch. I've almost burned it a few times on a BBQ chimney starter.

I'll admit to being a shoe-whore, although mostly sneakers. My boyfriend's even building me special shelving for them. But I was keeping it to myself.
