  • Alternatives to Coconut oil for skin care

I am looking for some body lotion or cream that is as primal as possible. I have tried coconut oil but it just feels too greasy to me.

    Any suggestions?

I use almond oil. If you take some water on your face/hands before applying the oil, you just need 3-4 drops of oil. That way you can use less oil, but still apply it evenly all over. Doesn't feel greasy at all to me. And I think it's really great to apply essential oils like mint or lavender to the base oil.
It turns out that common sense is not as common as we thought.

I use jojoba oil. Absolutely DIVINE.

I like jojoba oil too and coconut for my skin. I also make a mix of jojoba and coconut oil, warm it up a little and make a hot oil treatment for my hair every week. My hair loves it!

I love jojoba oil. I have very sensitive skin - I use it on my face and body. It is silky, absorbs nicely, and leaves my skin very soft.

I really like shea butter, but some people can't get past the smell (I find it rather pleasant tbh). I have bouts of dry skin that only shea seems to heal.
