  • Another Japan quake!

From CNN: "7.4-magnitude earthquake strikes off coast of Miyagi, Japan, Japan's meteorological agency says."

That's only about 50 miles from the previous quake... I betcha that reactor is really toast now...

    Just added:
"Workers evacuate Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant after 7.4-magnitude quake, Tokyo Electric Power Company says."

That's kind of funny. Perhaps they should stop using nuclear power.
In all of the universe there is only one person with your exact charateristics. Just like there is only one person with everybody else's characteristics. Effectively, your uniqueness makes you pretty average.

              Mexico just got rocked too.

A magnitude-6.5 earthquake shook a wide area of southern and central Mexico on Thursday, sending people fleeing into the streets, but causing only minor reported damage.

Yeah Mexico too. Both sides of the ring of fire.

Happy to be in Kansas today.

Jayziz, is the entire ring of fire rotating or something?...

Wow, because there's nothing like laughing at a major tragedy.

I have friends who live in Japan and/or have friends, family, and loved ones there. I hope that people are okay.

It is very strange for me to think of the fact, that I was in Japan for three months, from September to December. I was even in Sendai - which is all gone...

I really hope the people I know in Japan are alright...

We know what is next, don't we?

San Andreas Fault in California is coming !

And there are FOUR Nuclear power plants sitting RIGHT ON or near the San Andreas fault line ! !
                          2 at Diablo Canyon
Diablo Canyon Power Plant - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
notice NO protection from a tsunami

and 2 at San Onofre Nuclear Power Plant was built to withstand a 7-magnitude earthquake ( Woefully inadequate)
Are California's Nuclear Power Plants Built to Withstand Earthquakes? - Manhattan Beach, CA Patch

All 4 are at risk for a Tsunami, and NONE could survive an earthquake the size of Japan (8.9).
We never learn. These 4 reactors are a disaster waiting to happen, not even protected from a tsunami.
