Nice one! I'm totally digging a few songs at the moment:

      Joe Bonamassa: High Water Everywhere

(I like the version from "Live from Nowhere in Particular" the best, but didn't see it on the YouTubez. Probably a weakness in my google-fu)

      Otis. Try a Little Tenderness:

And to flip the script, Seasons (Waiting on You) by Future Islands:

      • Not sure why the third link went wonky. Maybe I copy/pasted wrong. Let's try otra vez, the old-fashioned way:

Yeah, Cd.n't tand the Weather was the first one I bought. I was pretty excited when I first heard (after a drought IMO-no pun intended) it and saddened when i heard he had died. The fact that he had cleaned himself up only adds to it. He had something pretty uniquely his.

          • Maybe not what you're referring to, or is it? Still good. A co-worker mentioned to me watching JB at a rather small venue and besides being fantastic, he was a nice guy sitting with and talking to them after the concert.

            • Pretty cool this era. I grew up with this a bit later:

              This begs for this:

I feel like a later version of Mad Men....

              • Always cool to hear another version of a classic, but I'll stick with Otis on that one. I love the growly, soulful parts.

                            • I'm listening to the sweet sounds of richmahogany singing "just give me a reason" while playing the ukulele. He was especially touching while singing pink's lines. Goosebumps people. Goosebumps...
