  • The Green Bay Packers and PALEO!

I just read an article over at ESPN, explaining how Aaron Rodgers relaxes. They described him packing his suitcase to head to Dallas, and mentioned he was bringing a copy of The Paleo Diet to read!

AWESOME! Aaron Rodgers + The Paleo Diet = Many, many Superbowl victories! No can defend!!!

    GO PACK GO!

Haha, I'm a Bears fan, but I still think this is awesome!

If only he could convince Cutler (who is Type 1 Diabetic), there would be some great competition in our division.

I keep hoping for more celebrities & athletes to come out as paleo/primal, but it doesn't pay as well as diet soda & oreo commercials...

There was an article in The Atlanta Journal about how heavy football players have become, to the point of it being a problem. Some of these players are getting fined $500 a pound at weigh-ins. Maybe a couple of success stories will be great PR for primal.

Great to see that Aaron Rodgers is paleo but I still say the Steelers will pull off the win.

I read a recent article about how the weight of football players has increased over the past 10 years to the point that it is a problem. Players are being fined $500 per pound that they are over on their weigh-ins. A nice incentive to try Paleo, and if they see performance increases as well, what a total healthy package.

If you happen to find it again could you post a link? I'd be interested in reading if it is the league or just certain teams/positions etc. It just strikes me as odd that many players, especially O-linemen, have to pack on weight and then people get fined for weighing too much. I often think the money for the average player just is not worth the wear and tear on the body.

Congrats to the Packers, clearly the best team won on Sunday.
