Ugh. I don't bother with the Daily Kook.

Besides, those convinced against their will are of the same opinion still.

I'm not suggesting we discuss the politics threads at DK (please, let's not!) but it would be cool if any of you were interested in supplying some facts to debunk the knee-jerk reactions I'm seeing over there.

Well I would like to delete this thread since you are all being so insanely rude about it. Can anyone tell me how to do it?

                  They're not being INSANELY rude.

                  Just mildly bitchy.

Yes, quit being overly sensitive. Conservatives, "libertarians", and right wing wackos are so easily provoked there's hardly any sport in it at all. Go read Wonkette, and you'll learn all about their secret lemon parties.

I was expecting a FLAME war, not a whimper.

OP, I was following that diary, primarily for the graphic illustration of the power of CW and the comic relief of some of the comments. A favorite was the poster who consumes a near vegetarian diet and believes they can synthesize protein from tomatoes...

(OK, I may be somewhat new to this primal thing but...protein from tomatoes?)

I do see that a couple of MDA vets have waded into the fray more recently, and references to Sisson, Taubes, Eades are cropping up more regularly, but the stupid - it is powerful...
                    Primal: going sane.
"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results."
                    - Rita Mae Brown, though frequently attributed to Albert Einstein, Mark Twain, or Benjamin Franklin...

Why can't we discuss it? I'm going to check it out.

I always regret following long, drawn out debates like that. They're terrible, but you just can't look away.

                            "insanely rude"????

                            Wow.....
                            Liz.

Zone diet on and off for several years....worked, but too much focus on exact meal composition
Primal since July 2010...skinniest I've ever been and the least stressed about food
