  • The Beluga of Bacon

This Christmas we got ourselves and our semi-adult kids breakfast meat gift packs from Cabella's. It turned out to be from Nueske's Meats in Wisconsin. Ohhhhh....my.....God! The bacon is amazing. Once I researched it I found out The New York Times called it "the Beluga of bacon", somebody else called it "the Rolls Royce of Rashers". Has anybody else had the pleasure?

    It's a great primal gift.

Ooooh YUMMY!!! I am picking up a bunch of *beef* bacon on Saturday from the butcher... I've never had that before, so thought I'd try it!

They had beef bacon at Trader Joe's last time I was there. Haven't tried it yet.
      Liz.

Zone diet on and off for several years....worked, but too much focus on exact meal composition
Primal since July 2010...skinniest I've ever been and the least stressed about food

Bacon is good. But something tells me that if you feel a brand of bacon is oh-my-god-fantastic, it's probably due to the sugar they use when curing it.
You lousy kids! Get off my savannah!

I tried the beef bacon, and it tasted a bit too sweet to me.
