  • Help! I left cooked meat out overnight...Can I eat it??

I made a delish chicken curry and left it out for about 8 hours on the stove while cooled off to room temp. I boiled it when I found it this morning (its almost soup like so all the meat is boil-able) and put it in the fridge, hoping it will be fine...

    Would you still eat this?

Yay! I do this w/ bone broth sometimes but haven't w/ actual chunks of meat b/4. Glad you all approve! I'm sure it will be a-ok--planning to heat some up for breakfast...mmmmm!

One time I let some meat thaw, but for some reason couldn't get around to cooking it, so I refroze it, then thawed it again later and cooked it and ate it oh my gooooodddddddd

To bring back the lulz, make sure to bump Rivvin's sauerkraut thread with an update of your own.

I stuck a leftover cooked rib in the microwave to zap for a snack. Spaced it until the next morning, so I had it for breakfast. No problem

I'd eat it. As long as it tastes fine it is fine is kinda my approach. It works for everything except tilapia for me. Tilapia for some reason always smells/tastes mouldy in a particular way to me even when absolutely freshly cooked! But it doesn't taste BAD and when fish goes bad you KNOW it went bad!

Not getting laid is what did that.
