  • Primal things to do around Vegas?

We're heading to Vegas for a week holiday this weekend. Hubby is on board with the PB, and the friends we're travelling with have started eating somewhat primally since I gave them a copy of the book.

We have a couple of shows booked, and the rest is fairly open. Probably day trips into the desert, the Hoover Dam and maybe even the Grand Canyon.

Any suggestions for some primal (or even non primal) things to do or see? Not really a gambler, though will likely check out a few casinos, since, well, we're in Vegas. I expect the food to be plentiful and primal as I want it to be. Looking forward to lots of fun.

Go to the Valley of Fire National Park and go hiking, there is also a ton to see at Lake Mead even if you are hiking. My dad lived in Henderson for 13 years so we were always looking for something to do besides "the strip" it really gets old when you go out there so frequently.

Red Rock Canyon is on the west side of Vegas. Its my favorite place to go when I'm in Vegas. Lots of trails to walk and rock to climb on.

That could work...though I might have to make it just a couple of pullups!

In that case, I'd have to say EAT MEAT, preferably very rare.

Thanks for the other suggestions, the ideas for hiking areas sound great.
