  • Welcomed benefit from CW family

My aunt comes over today and I served her up some butternut squash soup which was totally primal, thanks to Batty's recipe My aunt then says, you know I bought this really large jar of coconut oil and I never use it, are you able to use it in your diet? So then she gives me two large jars of coconut oil....THANK YOU GOD!!! Love that I don't have to spend 30 bills for those 2 jars.

Not exactly family, but friends who cut the fat off of their steaks will give it to me.

I haven't been offered any goodies yet, but I have asked for them and received 'the look'.

My time at the Japanese steakhouse was one of those moments when I declined the fried rice and asked for the fat from all the steaks.

Haha. I remember when I lived in Japan I went to a restaurant for deep fried pork cutlets (yeah, yeah...) and told the waitress to hold the rice. She looked at me as though I were crazy or sick or something.

That is funny about the extra fat protion!! I have only asked once (well only have eaten out once in 8 weeks so that is an accomplishmnet) to hold potatoes and the waitress was nice enough to let me have an extra veggie when at a restaurant.

Oh goodness. Even when I wasn't eating Primal I loved (still do!) fat. Milkfish has a delicious, fatty stomach that my sister would never eat. Unfortunately I had to fight my mom and dad for it, so I never got quite as much as I liked.
