    Well I'm afraid I don't have a before as a comparison but I've just had my bloods in after eating Primal for 6 months. I am a 45 year old female with no known health issues.
    Our measurements are different to USA so not sure how you convert.
    LDL 3.1
    HDL 1.8
    Trigclycerides 0.5
    Total 5.1
    Ferritin 61
    Thyroid Normal 1.0
    B12 293
    Glucose 5.3
    Vit D 121nmol/48 ng (I have only been supplementing for 2 months thru winter, first month 7000IU as per body weight, second month 5000IU) now the sun is out I may pull back slightly.
    According to nurse 50nmol/20ng is normal (yeah right!!)

    This info was over the phone, the results will be posted to me forthwith.

    Excellent lipid figures. HDL and trigs are both very good. LDL was calculated using Friedewald so can be ignored. If you use Iranian it will be a few points lower. Nothing to worry about there

    Glucose is in the normal range, albeit at the high end

    Your D can go higher - 150 seems to be a good target

    Eat creatures nose-to-tail (animal, fowl, fish, crustacea, molluscs), a large variety of vegetables (raw, cooked and fermented, including safe starches), dairy (cheese & yoghurt), occasional fruit, cocoa, turmeric & red wine

      I can help with the cholesterol numbers:

      To convert anything except triglycerides from mmol/dl to mg/dl, multiply the mmol/dl number by 38.664. To convert triglycerides, multiply the mmol/dl number by 89. Here's your numbers:

      Total: 197
      HDL: 70
      LDL: 120
      Trig: 45

      Total/HDL: 2.8 where 4.4 or below is ideal for women and 5.0 or lower is ideal for men
      Trig/HDL: 0.6 where 2 or below is ideal
      LDL/HDL 1.3 where 4.3 or below is ideal

      You have nothing to worry about, cholesterol-wise.
      Primal eating in a nutshell: If you are hungry, eat Primal food until you are satisfied (not stuffed). Then stop. Wait until you're hungry again. Repeat.
