Better stay away from me, man. It's my son's birthday, and I'll be eating anything and everything...

You can do this! Plus, this is good practice for the September 30-day Challenge!

I have been wanting to cut alcohol for the past 6 months. Yeah I know I am week. I figure the 30 day challenge could be a good opportunity for this. I commend you for your effort.

            batty, that's just wrong!

so far so good. at my scrambled eggs and chicken sausage concoction.

then sat in the dentist chair for an hr.

that should deter me for a while. teefers are all nice, shiny, smooth. lol

But, i was/am craving coffee. I was thinking an americano with cream but a diff goal is to have caffeine on the weekend...as a true creamy wonderful tasty treat.

sigh. 4.5 more hrs of work then I'll be a grillin' fool!

Working on the last of the pork tenderloin.

no urge, right...now...to scour for junk food.

                1 more hr at work.

work is slacking right now so i'm focusing on weekend recipes & todo lists for when i get home today.

                i am getting hungry. yuck.

I just had a delicious bowl of chilli and I didn't eat the crackers that came with it. That was hard, but I did it!

You can do it. I find it better to find something to do with my hands. Or maybe a walk.

a walk would be nice but i'm attached to a computer. and with 1 hr left, i prob shouldn't go missing on a friday.

and that's not nice...chili...but then again, it's 100 degrees here. Chili doesn't sound great.

there will be pictures of the grill fest happening later today. But you'll have to find those on my august journal.

that cobb salad we were talking about would be a nice meal when it's so hot out.

20 more minutes for me at work then I am outta here for some serious trail work! WOOT!

If you are stuck at your desk, try to stand and stretch, or at least do the exercises you see on a plane to prevent DVT, stretch your arms up, flex the wrists, ankles, etc... If fellow cubicle dwellers look at you strange, tell them you are trying to prevent back strain. Focus your eyes on something like the exit sign for 30 seconds to prevent eye strain.

Thanks for the info. I already stand at my desk prob 6 out of a 9 hr day...see picture.

And my co-workers already think I'm a freak because of the constant stretching, rolling foot on golf ball, etc.

But it is very very good advice!
