  • My goal for today...

    ...is to be 100% primal.

    No processed foods.

    Only Eggs, meats, veggies.

    Nothin' else.

    Just need to make that public statement.

              So far so good.

              Around 7, I ate the egg/sausage concoction from home...reheated, wasn't as bad as I feared. (See Dog Days of August Journal) This kept about $5 in my pocket since I didn't eat out.

              Around 9, I heated up the pork tenderloin and couple pcs of squash, from home. That's another $5 - 7 in my pocket.

              Drinking water today.

              I have a boiled egg left till I get home.

              Eek. ~~~scrounging around in my desk drawer for emergency stash~~~~nope, nuthin'. Hmm...time to focus on work. REALLY hard. Lol.

                          Ok. it's 1:33 cdt and I'VE STEERED CLEAR OF THE VENDING MACHINES AND CAFETERIA TODAY!!

                          Now, the challenge comes at home.

                          I have some off the bone lunch meats and olives. And I think some sharp cheddar. Me and The Kid will have to make a snack. Then, we'll have to eat before we leave...I think there's enough pork roast left over.

                          I have pool and softball tonight. So, the key is to leave credit card at home so no temptation. I carry no cash.

                          So, eat plenty of food before leaving the house.

                          I may have to try this again tomorrow!

                            snack of off the bone turkey meat and some cheese.

                              well, there were not enough for me & The Kid. So, we ran some errands & I am treat him (and myself) to Chili's.
