  • Congratulations Mirrorball!

Wow...after a year-ish you have reached your goal weight...congratulations, you must be very chuffed. Particularly after sticking to it for ages.

I have been watching your stats change for months and for a week or so I have been meaning to post a note since you hit your goal weight. It really motivates me to achieve a similar goal, having started (with a hiccup for a month or so) with similar stats at the start of the year.

Sorry if I have missed some previous celebration of your goal, I just think its awesome!

What's the next goal (if you don't mind sharing)?

She's going to try frugavorianism for maintenance?

Seriously, congrats MB. I'm impatient to make my goal and possibly switching to some of your ideas.

Wow, I didn't expect anyone to create a thread to congratulate me and I almost missed it. Thank you!!! *hugs*

My next goal is to increase vegetables in my diet, to keep on learning about diet and exercise, to keep exercising every day and if my body wants to drop a few more pounds I won't complain. And I will also adopt frugavorianism for maintenance, of course.

I'll leave a piece of advice to those who want to make their goals: Sometimes the easy way is the best way, because it's what your body likes and it's what you can maintain for life. Even as you start losing weight, focus on maintenance, on habits you can maintain for the rest of your life to keep your weight off.

I noticed the goal, too - absolutely well done! How does it feel, and what other differences have you noticed? I love hearing about people's health problems clearing up, especially problems they never realized were related to diet or never even knew they had!

                        Mog's Day. Love it!

Are you standing next to a horse's rear end or an ostrich or a levitating ball of granite in that first picture?

GERD is a thousand times better and I rarely have heartburn after a meal now. It used to be all the time when I was on the SAD. My skin is also much better and a friend even asked if I had had laser treatment. My body dimensions are different, of course. Now I have two hollows under my ribcage that I didn't have before, and they never cease to amaze me. I can sit with my legs crossed! My waist to hip ratio is getting favourable. My knees are thinner, my hands too. My hip bones stick out when I lie down, it's very weird.

LOL! It's a goat statue IIRC. I took that picture during a trip to Ireland.
