  • canadian men claim new record eating bacon and butter

three Canadian men have claimed a new record for the quickest journey
across Antarctica to the South Pole, completing the journey of seven hundred
miles in just over thirty-three days.

They endured grueling trekking, altitude sickness, vertigo, and painful blisters
on a seven-thousand calorie-per-day diet of deep-fried bacon, cheese and chunks
    of butter (msnbc,msn.com, January 9, 2009).

    pretty cool, huh?

my climbing partner and I eat one thing right away after a full day of ice-climbing in the winter...lots of BACON! It replaces those burnt calories quite easily.
      I grok, therefore I am.

I was hoping this was going to be a thread about a new bacon and butter eating world record.

They each ate 7000 calories a day. So it may be a bacon and butter eating world record.
