  • Grass fed beef tallow

I've been thinking about trying tallow, and have some questions. Where do you purchase grass fed beef tallow? How much of it is safe to get at one time (i.e. what is its shelf life, how do you store it)?

I think most people make it themselves..............

I am just starting out with Primal, even though I bought the book almost a year ago.

If you don't have the time or methods to make it yourself, you can order it from here (no affiliation). It's a bit pricey, but if it's in your budget I would recommend giving it a try!

i'm having an impossible time trying to find it right now. any place that I contact either uses all the fat in their ground beef, or takes forever to accumulate enough to render one litre.
          I grok, therefore I am.

It's really easy to make. All you need is a crockpot. I make my own from fat I get from my butcher (from my cow and others.) Same with lard.
