Any suggestion how to stop this? Is it normal? I can reduce or leave out bread, oats (if they are not around), and pasta etc. even all the other sweets and cadies.
Are you craving the chocolate crunchy cereals specifically, or sugary things in general? I've noticed that I've craved sugar when my body needed it, and I don't really avoid it anymore. I know Mark Sisson thinks it should be minimized, but the likes Ray Peat,
Danny Roddy, Lira Lee, Andrew Kim, etc. seem to prefer sugar to starch as a primary source of carbs. Matt Stone advocates following your cravings and just eat them and you'll quickly get over them and gravitate back towards more wholesome foods once your in a better metabolic and and less food neurotic state. Just some food for thought. I've personally experimented with all of them, and if I'm craving sugar, I'll eat something sugary, but ideally not some super processed junky source of it

I often find that females have a preference beyond cultural bias for fruit, fermented milk products, nut products and seafood. I think it is fertility driven.

It'll come and go. Seek out healthy sweets, keep them about in small amounts.

Thank you! I'll try to find the right balance...
It's just the chocolate cerials...and dried apricots
But the worst is over...I do not need to eat the whole package, like month ago.

An example are pregnant women. They have the weirdest/strongest food cravings sometimes... I think that could be driven by nutrient requirements for her and the growing baby.

              @ToldUzo:Think so, too.

What do you eat when craving sugary things? Besides dark chocolate!

Dunno, I've heard pickles are a common craving, and they don't really have any nutrition if me...wait, I have Google!

                Vitamin K, evidently.

I think protein aversion is to blame for most cravings. If you are craving something, have a sweet juicy steak or two first and see if that *candy-like* thing still tempts you.

Honey and frozen bananas. I find that honey is so sweet and has no additional flavors it takes a tablespoon at most before waving the sweets good-buy. Fruit with flavor and texture makes me overeat much more because the whole hyper-palatability kicks in. Frozen bananas are a sloooow sweet food. Tiny slice by tiny slice as opposite to consuming the fruit in a few bites.

Had a great breakfast, that satisfied my need of sth sweet:
Stir 2 eggs, cut an apple a banana into pieces; give the apples into an pan and add the egg; wait until it is boiled and add the banana and scramble. Topping: cinamon, honey&tbs of sour cream, chia seeds, nuts...as you like it. Might not sound tasty but it is - zo me and kept me full till midday. NO chocolate cereals anyway

                          Sounds like my breakfast lately.
I might add bacon bits and avocado.

Umm yeah it does. Different honeys have different flavours depending on what is flowering & where they are getting there pollen from.

If I restrict one macro for too long I get cravings for the junkiest format of that macro as well as some healthier options.

For example if I restrict fat too low for about 2 weeks I get the biggest craving for a huge hunk of mozzarella cheese, ice cream, and peanut butter. If I restrict carbs too low I want CAKE, bananas, and sushi.

Oh wait. I always crave sushi and bananas. Never mind...
