  • Enzymes / probiotic supplements and Greek yoghurt give me anxiety???

A while back I started taking Now Papaya enzymes with meals and was fine.
Then I tried Enzymedica Digest gold + probiotics, they gave me major anxiety attacks, heavy breathing etc.

I stopped taking any of these supplements for a while.

Then I tried the Papaya enzymes again, and now these seem to give me trouble as well, I get all nervous for a while after having them.

Also, for years I only had dairy occasionally, recently I heard a lot of good stuff about Greek yoghurt so I added it to my diet but, this also seems to make me all nervous, anxious and brain foggy too.

What's up with that? A war going on inside?
I heard about Candida die-off symptoms, is this similar?

    Thanks.

What kind of dairy ? cow or sheep ? Can make a significant difference.

Seems more than likely that the anxiety would stem from a SIBO type herx reaction. It is always possible that you do have some sort of food allergy and it over stimulated the vagus nerve. The papaya enzyme also might be causing a sensitivity reaction.
My book Fix Your Gut is available on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Fix-Your-Gut-D...s=fix+your+gut. The book price is $7.99.

          Thanks again.
I should really look into SIBO as you mentioned it a couple times based on my symptoms.

Have you heard of 'stomach up' causing constipation?

D-Lactate? It's a byproduct of the fermentation process in yoghurt and by probiotic bacteria in a fermenting gut. Some people are sensitive to it.
