  • How to go RAW! <littered with probable controversy>

This guy is my new hero.

" I crack open the skull and eat the brain. Itís kind of a delicacy, so Iíll wait until the weekend to get into it.

It's making all my vegan and vegetarian friends on facebook freak out.

Before I clicked it, I figured it was a parody. After reading, I'm honestly not sure! Well done, if so.

      Brains. Prions.

Get a meat grinder and make your own steak tartare. Not controversial, just French.

        Seems to work for him.
I find your lack of bacon disturbing.

No, it definitely seems legit. The really unbelievable part is his vegan-ish girlfriend.

For some reason, I do not want to click on that link. But I will say this: virtually every micronutrient and macronutrient is better assimilated into the body when cooked, and virtually every problematic fiber or anti-nutrient is made less problematic by cooking. Some poisons are rendered completely inert by the cooking process. Kidney beans are poisonous raw and possibly healthful when cooked properly. Raw starchy tubers can make you very ill, but cooked are almost universally healthy. "Denatured" i.e. cooked animal proteins are far superior to raw proteins for muscle growth. Cooked foods are almost always superior to raw foods.
