    Apart from feeling better that is

    What would you guys recommend as the essential tests to get done? Is there one out there that covers a lot of the vitamins? I'd like to track my progress eating healthier foods but I'd like to have some confirmation from a doctor/lab that I am indeed healthier than I was 6/12 months ago.

    its useful to get a full blood count. U+Es +, LFT, complete thyroid , vitamin D, B12, folate, fasting glucose and as a freebie you'll get cholesterol. don't bother with PSA
    When I'd had enough of the grain and starched based 'diabetic eating for health' diet (eating for health, my ass!) my weight was 242.5 lbs. On starting primal- 18th April 2013 weight : 238.1.
    27th July 2013. weight after 100 days 136.9 weight lost 101.2lb ; that's 105.6lbs since I stopped the 'diabetic eating for health'
