    Hey everyone,
    Will somebody please breakdown into simple terms what fats I should be eating and the percentages of each i.e.: MUFA, PUFA, SFA, ectů Thanks.

    If I recall:

    Fats should be 70-80% of your total calorie intake.

    half of that should be satured fat.
    no more than ten percent should be PUFA.
    The rest should be MUFA.

    Trans fat = the devil.
    A steak a day keeps the doctor away

      It doesn't really work that way. Depends on your goals, your height, weight, sex, activity level. Fats should account for at least 50% of your diet but there's no hard and fast rule as to what that percentage is made up of. Read this: http://www.marksdailyapple.com/fats/ If you're eating good foods, your percentages will take care of themselves.
