Why is this flawed logic?
Fruit trees - with fruit edible to us specifically - are but one aspect of an entire ecosystem. You'll want to look up paleobotany for that. Also other animals will be after that fruit, and be better at getting it. And seasonal availability comes in. No one lived in a mango orchard.

Actually, if you turn on the history channel scientists are saying advanced aliens came here thousands of years ago and created us by crossing their DNA with Neanderthal. Would explain the sudden rise of civilization, pyramids, the missing link, etc. Anyway if we are half alien... who knows what the aliens ate?

I hope you're being more facetious about this than I was about the deep fried koala.

You haven't heard of this? Every time I turn on the history channel there is a show about Ancient Aliens. Scientists decoded ancient sumerian text and it's the only thing that makes an ounce of sense as to how humans came to be. More sense then advanced civilizations just springing up out of nowhere 10,000 years ago and countless other things we can't explain. Read up on it and get learned.

That show is a laughing stock to anyone with half a brain, bro. Eat some meat and it will make sense.

I think there is validity. Explains the love for Mountain Dew and Cheetos.

Alien induced addiction to mountain dew and cheetos.....Damn! Now it all makes so much sense. How have we overlooked it for so long?

I live in a climate with a year-round growing season. There is fruit in the backcountry. But it is only available for a short time. Nearly every plant out there in the backcountry technically has fruit, but only two or three species that I can think of have fruit that is almost palatable to eat.

The native people who lived here before Western contact ate acorns and seafood mainly.

Again I say, if you want to be fruitatarian then more power to you . But do not think that doing so means you're following in some paleo forefather footsteps, because you're not. Fruitatarian is only possible with modern agricultural practices.
Really interesting info! I have heard there still are uncontacted people in PNG.

Go to any ecosystem that is untrammeled by man and you will not see an environment with large swaths of edible fruit trees with fruit available every day of the year. You will see a tree here that has fruit for this period each year, another that has nuts at some other time of year, another with edible blossoms, maybe a grove that is really productive over there, maybe nothing for miles over there and always with some period of the year when none of it is palatable or edible.

Thing is, we can eat every creature that bleeds no matter what species of plant it specializes in eating. Even koala bears.
