There's nothing wrong with fruit per se but if you are eating so much, to the point that you are excluding the valuable nutrients found in animal products, then you have a problem.

      Fructose isn't a great idea.

It makes you fat. It also raises triglycerides.

I never said sweet fuck all about CICO or eating unlimited amounts of fruit. Nice try.

Not to be an ass, but I was laughing at your statement, not with it.

Like Derpamix said, there's been a long discussion about this already, you've hardly said anything that hasn't already been discussed earlier in the thread.

I wondered about that. My first primal troll.

Correcting any analysis which differs from my analysis.

My two statements (or perhaps just one statement): Fruit makes you fat. Fruit raises triglyceride levels.

Let's break that down. Eating a ton of fruit (the point of this thread) does raise triglyceride levels, or keeps them high, especially if you are already overweight (OP) and/or already have high triglyceride levels. If fruit raises triglyceride levels, how likely is it that fruit is also a food that makes you thin? Or is it more likely that it is a food makes you fat? Do triglyceride levels move inversely with body fat? No, I do not think they do. Therefore the food that raises triglycerides levels or keeps them elevated also makes you fat.

Even the AHA, who are absolute freakin' idiots, admit fruit raises triglycerides, or at least keeps them high.
"For those people above 150 mg/dL triglycerides, limit fructose and work with your healthcare provider to monitor your fructose intake, and emphasize more vegetables and fruits that are lower in fructose."

                              http://my.americanheart.org/idc/grou...ucm_425988.pdf

Therefore, I conclude eating A TON of fruit is not a good idea.
