          I absolutely love the piece, but just a quick nitpick to some of the responses here - if you read to the bottom, you'll see it's not written by Wolf, but RD Amy Kubal.

            I'm a 5. I like food. Last night's Cuban sandwich was amazing, bread and all. Tonight's bunless lamb burger with greek salad will be amazing too.

            I'll never eat Dominos, McDonalds or Oreos, but I'd be sad if I could never have certain foods ever again.

              I dunno, my variety is probably WTF paleo, but I have not eaten bacon or drunk lattes. My deviations over the few years were like organic millet and, at times, artificial sweeteners. Now I am strict, no dairy, even eliminated eggs and nightshades for a while... I did low carb, carb cycling... still did not mean my goals" good energy, no depression, lean body and clear skin. I am experimenting with the low fat-high fruit approach now.

              I do not appreciate the thought that those who don't see the results are just not really trying.

                              Naturally landed in 3 for a while until my body said WTH. Now a 4.5 w/ occasional mistakes, like this weekend at the cabin where someone kept making screwdrivers and i kept drinking them. Whoops.
