  • Calculated my caloric needs....

    First of all, I am not primal to lose weight, I am primal be healthy. I am an active weightlifter/sprinter.

    Anyway, I finally decided to calculate my caloric needs to maintain and its 3,000. Problem? I cant eat that much. I am not that hungry.

    What are some high calorie primal foods for snacks or meals ect..? I eat a lot of eggs, but at 70cals an egg, thats A LOT of eggs.

    Anything with a high fat content will have a lot of calories. Oils will be high in calories without being really filling. Nut butters, nuts, avocado, seeds, etc. Also if you drink coffee you can add coconut oil to it to up your cals

      Thx guys. I think my main problem is not eating breakfast. I'll have to start that first of all

        Coconut milk and heavy cream go down pretty easily. You can make shakes, ice cream, hot cocoa, etc.

          Yep, coconut milk x2, can blend it, add it to stuff, make ice cream, chocolate ice cream, OMG, I want chocolate coconut milk ice cream right now!!!!! :nilly:

          That and bacon.
