  • What can you spread butter on?

    Looking for something I can just spread butter on (instead of bread)... Don't want to melt the butter, just spread it

    Any suggesstions?

          This was my favorite treat when I was a child, and everyone thought I was nuts. Now I could care less what they think and enjoy it immensely. Cold roast pork is pretty good as well.

                  I posted this last year I think

                  I use rice cakes. I tried the radish suggestion, didn't love it. Unlike others, I can't just do the butter alone either - that makes me gag. One year later, I still just use rice cakes when I am craving spoonfuls of butter.

                      Cold meat of any kind, slices of cheese, maybe some sort of vegetable if you are into that sort of thing.

                            Rice cakes do have marvelous crevices that can hold a lot of butter.

                            Butter is also good for cementing together layers of roast beef and cheese.
