  • Bone Broth - Nutritional Contents

I came across this website that has nutritional contents for bone broth, which includes 900 grams of bones, 408 grams of garlic, and 2 Tbsp of Cider Vinegar.

Here is the link: Nutrition Facts and Analysis for Balanced Bites Mineral-Rich Bone Broth (Beef & Garlic) 1 cup/ per serving

I think the majority of the carbs would come from the garlic. Garlic contains 45 grams of carbs for every 136 (1 cup). So if garlic was not used or any vegetables for that matter when cooking the bone broth, could I essentially remove the carb content out of the nutritional contents?

Is "Balanced Bites Mineral-Rich Bone Broth" a commercial preparation?

Great question. I don't think it's a commercial prep as you can see from the following link. Easy Recipe: Mineral-Rich Bone Broth And the author of the recipe is a paleo nutritionist.

The funny thing is that the link was posted on the MDA forums at one point in time, by the author. http://www.marksdailyapple.com/forum/thread30211-2.html

BTW, love the quote in your signature line.

Thank you, dob. When I read it I thought it would be perfect for the forum.
