  • Absorbtion of Food or Supplements

Is there any information on the absortion percentage of food or supplements dependent upon the amount of general inflamation in the body (or C-Reative Protein number)?

Any studies at all? It seems to me there ought to be with all the paleo theories on inflamation as the cause of so many diseases.

    I'm interested in studies too.
From personal experience, I know it makes a difference.
Paleo since April 2013 for health reasons.

We don't have the funds to run relevant studies. We're still trying to prove (to the tune of billions of dollars) that cholesterol lowering drugs (among others) are worth a damn so we can keep pushing em.

Its tough to study health. All the money is in disease.

There are studies showing that some types or brands of supplements are excreted by the body still in pill form, making those a complete waste of money.

Thank you all for replying. I'm spending a fair amount of money on supplements. I also realize that many obese people are actually slowly dying of malnutrition. So until there is more information I think I'll just assume that reduction of inflation results in the same increase in absorbtion of supplements as of food.
