I'm drinking a cup of dandelion root tea right now, Knifegill. I think of you whenever I pull up a dandelion now. My husband went out and sprayed them all a few days ago but forgot the ones growing out of the stone wall on the side of the house. I picked them all before he could go all medieval on their asses.

It's been what...5 days since you started? How's the ab quest coming along?

On Robb Wolf's site a while back, they had a chili recipe cookoff, and one of em was beef heart. It is fantastic:

Check with the Asian markets. I get them at H Mart in Tigard. There's a bigger one in Beaverton:

That sounds delicious, I should try that! I've also considered just grinding it up and using as a replacement for ground beef in various recipes.

              Sacapuntas!

Back to steak and eggs! Carb refeed went for three meals instead of two, lots of leftovers from family tree-cutting-a-thon. Can't watch food go to waste!

Refeed day was high-protein, moderate carb and moderate fat thanks to avocados! I really worked out hard, like a lumberjack, for hours on end. I do NOT feel that my glycogen has been topped off at all. Had 2 cups blueberries, a pound of taco meat (primal friendly, home made!) handful of lettuce, two handfuls of corn chips to eat the meat with, some real greek yogurt on top, some nice salsa (my once in a blue moon nightshade exception), and some molasses in my water to insure against cramps. I don't remember anything else I ate, that's the majority of it. Later, leftovers were chip-free.

Pounding water in the heat, got a sunburn on my forehead which is still a tad sensitive, should turn into a tan like the rest of the burn. No need to supplement vitamin D anytime soon.

Lol at constantly updating with "steak and eggs" twice a day!

Pics soon, probably another day or two.

Nice job Kg. Keep up the good work! Hope y'all up north are enjoying the same beautiful weather we are down here. Kinda unusual for NW this time of year, but no complaints

Yes, weather is crazy nice. Got my riding lawnmower and mowed, mowed and mowed some more. We set up a hugalculture mound and used the grass on top, next is the soil - will move with the mower, it has a trailer.

Just inherited an aging bag of pistachios, eating them now on top of my steak and egg dinner - will be solid steak and eggs starting tomorrow!

Alright, alright. Finally done with the dancing, back to marching - in yummy steak and eggs land! Dinner was steak bits and three chicken eggs, one duck egg in coconut oil with pepper, salt and turmeric, chased with no more than 1 cup of home-brewed kombucha and a bite of real sauerkraut. That's it! Steak, eggs, and digestive enhancement geared entirely at digesting said steak and eggs!

So perhaps this should be called the "Steak, Eggs, and Fermented Foods" regimen for me.

I'm so disappointed! I scanned through the rest of your posts hoping for more photos of shirtless hot guys, but alas, there were none.

Going strong now! Finished the old taco meat, had 3 duck eggs in coconut oil, bite of sauerkraut and some kombucha. Steaks are thawing in the fridge.

Yesterday's workout was not great. Only got out 12 chin-ups in my first/only set, then 30 push-ups and 10 40-pound curls. Was first day back to work, had been awake far too long and was dehydrated, so I stopped there and went home to sleep. Today I brought water and have had sleep, this AM's workout should be a lot better!

Went by the pharmacy's body fat machine, it was out of service. I unplugged it and let it reboot, it still wasn't working quite right...will swing by this AM again for kicks. And I WON'T buy a bar of chocolate as is my old habit when I stop there...because STEAKANDEGGZ!!!

The meager sauerkraut and kombucha REALLY help the meat digest!

EDIT: oh, yeah. I had coconut milk in my coffee yesterday before work. Frankly, it gets hard to remember much on my first day or two back at work...

Carb refeed! 9 kiwis, two mangoes, 3 cup of blueberries, 12 ounces oyster, 9 servings of cashew - okay, still a little high-fat. Meh, I've definitely spiked my glucose mechanisms.
